Local Spotlight: Aquarium Restaurant

Family at the aquarium

The Towers of Seabrook loves to introduce our residents to places near their apartment to enjoy that can bring fulfillment to their lives. Have you checked out the Aquarium Restaurant just a nine-minute drive from your apartment? Not only is the aquarium a great place to learn, but it’s also the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat in the middle of all that consumption of knowledge. Learn more in today’s blog.

Get a fully immersive aquatic life experience with this “underwater dining adventure.” It sits you around a 50,000-gallon tank (which houses a variety of fish, sharks, stingrays, and more) underneath sea decor so you can feel like you’re in the middle of the ocean — without needing to hold your breath or develop some gills, either! And no matter where you’re seated or how tall you are, you and your kids can check out the wonders of the tank from floor to ceiling. Check out the more than 1200 species of colorful tropical fish from the Caribbean Sea, Hawaii, South Pacific, and the Indian Ocean that reside in the tank.

When you’re not dining with the fish, get up close and personal with them! The stingray exhibit lets you touch and feed live stingrays so you and your little ones can have a memorable experience learning about nature. The aquarium even offers more opportunities for fun-filled learning with educational programs, overnight visits, and behind-the-scenes tours. Included in these are classroom programs, a Marine Biologist for a Day program, and a culinary education program. Take the opportunity to dissect a squid or learn about coral this month.

And if you’re in for more of a party, check out what rooms are available to rent for banquets and meetings or birthdays for your next event! It’ll be an experience to remember for all involved.
